Capital and Coast District Health Board’s (DHB’s) Controlled Drug Prescription System was based on a Microsoft Access platform which was inadequate to support the business processes.

Codec redeveloped the application with a .NET platform.

This required Codec to undertake the architectural solution, and the .NET development, testing and implementation. The new system was built using modern MS libraries and tools, and incorporated workflows and additional requirements such as provision for multi-users to use the application simultaneously.

Codec was able to use its expertise in ASP, .NET, MVC, and DotNet 3.5 as well as its industry knowledge of the health system and the Drug Prescription Systems in particular.
